Role and Responsibilities
The Auditing Clerk will be responsible for the auditing and reconciling of SBT (Scan Based Trading) accounts. This position will audit the mathematical accuracy of documents, coding data and cross-reference this information to ensure accurate account balance and payment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ·
The Auditing Clerk will be responsible for the auditing and reconciling of SBT (Scan Based Trading) accounts. This position will audit the mathematical accuracy of documents, coding data and cross-reference this information to ensure accurate account balance and payment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ·
- Review and verify documents such as invoices and payment remittances. ·
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information. ·
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner. ·
- Create procedures, practices and reports to enhance the reconciliation process. ·
- Provide support and assistance to company personnel. ·
- Reviewing data with a keen eye for detail and accuracy is imperative. ·
- Maintain strong communication with management and other personnel within the organization to enhance the efficiency of the process.
Qualifications and Education Requirements ·
- Accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivables or payables ·
- Competent in MS Office Excel and accounting software. ·
- Understanding of bookkeeping, basic accounting practices and financial systems. ·
- Experience in creating and reviewing spreadsheets and financial reports. ·
- Possess strong analytical skills to evaluate documents and identify discrepancies or inaccuracies. ·
- Associate’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ·
- Required to sit for extended periods. ·
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
- Close visual acuity for computer use.
Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
